Inspired

Shortly after moving to Cheltenham in 1994 I decided to do something different and started taking drum lessons. Then in 1995 I started to look around with a view to playing in a band. I met Colin Bramish (another CIXen) and would jam with a few other friends, including Wilf from Fat Cat. Then I met "AJ" who used to have a band called Inspired until they lost their drummer. Colin and myself joined them, making up a five peice band:

	Steve	Drums

Louise and AJ had quite a few songs that had been written from their earlier days. The idea was to start with mainly coversto build a following and introduce more and more of our own material, although even at the outset our playlist included four or five of our own songs.

1996 was spend rehearsing and searching for a keyboard player. We got through quite a few very tallented people, but generally, we weren't what they were looking for. We played a couple of gigs during 1997 which culminated in a New Years Eve event for the IVC.
